Overview
Port Stephens is located 2.5 hours North of Sydney, on the NSW Coast.
The water paradise region is home to Shoal Bay and Nelson Bay, and

World Champion Horizons course to the 27 hole Nelson Bay course.

The Tomaree Peninsula is where the bush meets the sea. Explore the
Tomaree national park, and see if you can spot native bird life.
Go four wheel driving on the Stockton Bight sand dunes, covering
an area of 2500 hectares. Visit the Sygna Shipwreck or go sand boarding
in the vast sand hills. Discover the remnants of Aboriginal historic
sites left by the traditional owners of the land, the Worimi people,
as well as WWII fortifications.
It’s easy to make friends with the locals in this relaxed
region, making it pleasant for holiday makers and newcomers alike
to settle in and make Port Stephens their own. Port Stephens also
has a host of dining opportunities, with restaurants and cafes offering
a range of international cuisine, and of course fresh seafood. Feel
like shopping? Head to Raymond Terrace for a massive shopping experience,

If you are after a day trip, or even a weekend away, be in the Hunter
Valley in 45 minutes from Nelson Bay. The Hunter Valley is home to
famous wineries where you can sample the latest range of local wines.

up some cheeses from the Hunter Valley Cheese Company.
Hop on a boat over to the north side of Port Stephens, and discover
the treasures of Tea Gardens, Hawkes Nest and the Myall river, and
view the beauty of Port Stephens from another angle. Explore the
Yacaaba headland national park, Bennetts Beach, and Winda Woppa.
